create creatine monohydrate gummies product review

Talk to any fitness and/or nutrition professional who’s worth their salt and they’ll probably only recommend a couple of supplements, with creatine being one of them. Why? Because creatine is the most studied supplement on the market, it’s recognized by the FDA as safe, and it provides a plethora of benefits.

Typically, creatine supplements are found in powder form. However, there’s been a recent insurgence of creatine gummies. And let’s be real, who doesn’t like gummies?

I’ve checked out a couple of gummy creatine supplements and ultimately discovered that they just weren’t as good as their powdered counterparts due to issues like the dosage being lower, more sugar & calories, etc.

Create Creatine Monohydrate Gummies recently popped up in my feed and caught my eye. These gummies seemed to have the dosing down and appeared to be catering to the female population, who are mostly hesitant to take creatine supplements.

I decided to give Create a try for myself. Here's a picture of me holding a Create Creatine Gummy before taking it:

Why Take Creatine?

Without taking too much time here, I do want to first cover what creatine is and why you should be taking it.

Creatine monohydrate is the most researched fitness supplement on the market. So what is it? It’s made up of three different amino acids; glycine, arginine, and methionine. Creatine is naturally made in our bodies, but we also get it from eating red meat, poultry, and fish.

Here are some key highlights of creatine:

  • It’s recognized by FDA as safe
  • It’s naturally produced in the body
  • Those who eat meat already consume 1-2 grams in their daily diet
  • It’s the most studied supplement on the market
  • It’s beneficial for both men & women
  • Those taking a supplement can expect to experience results in 2-4 weeks
  • Those taking a supplement can increase strength by 10-15% in less than 1 month
  • Studies show that it can also improve cognitive function

Create Creatine Monohydrate Gummies Overview

Create Gummies contain 1 gram of creatine monohydrate per gummy. These gummies are vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, and contain only 5g of sugar per serving. The general daily recommended intake of creatine per day is 5g, so those using Create Gummies for their supplementation would be advised to consume 5 gummies per day.

Create provides the following consumption guidelines based on your goals:

  1. For Maintenance & Dietary Replenishment - Take 2-3 Create gummies per day.
  2. For Building & Full Creatine Benefits - Take 3-5 gummies per day

Creatine can be taken at any time throughout the day, so no need to worry about specific timing windows, however, most people opt to take their creatine either right before or after their workout. In order to experience the full benefits of creatine, users are advised to take it consistently for at least 2-3 weeks.

Most creatine enthusiasts will tell you that, when they take creatine monohydrate consistently, they experience increased lean muscle mass, quicker recovery, increased energy, and a boost in cognitive performance. Also, they’ll tell you that they overall just look and feel better. Creatine pulls water into your muscles, giving them a full, sculpted, or “toned” look.

Create Ingredients

One thing that I really like about Create Creatine Gummies vs some other creatine gummy supplement options is that they didn’t add in a bunch of other vitamins, minerals, etc. They keep it simple and straightforward with the following ingredients:

  • Creatine Monohydrate
  • Tapioca syrup
  • Sugar
  • Water
  • Pectin
  • Malic Acid
  • Allulose
  • Natural Flavor
  • Natural Coloring

There are 50 calories per 5-gummy serving.

Taste & Texture

the gummies

I’m a gummy gal, so I tend to be pretty particular about the gummies I choose to take. I mean, part of the reason why you would choose a gummy creatine supplement over a powdered one is that gummies are fun and tasty, right?

Create’s gummies are orange-flavored, which isn’t my favorite, to be honest. However, I find the taste to be pretty pleasant. They aren’t super sweet or coated in sugar, which I appreciate but they definitely have a pretty strong orange flavor. The texture is soft and chewy without being sticky or hard, which is definitely a big plus.

Wait: Doesn’t Creatine Cause Bloating and Weight Gain?

This is a very common myth regarding creatine and the reason why so many people, women in particular, are resistant to taking it. The truth is that the “bloating” people are referring to when starting a creatine supplement is the result of increased muscle hydration. This is most often experienced during a “loading phase,” in which Create gummies are designed to be taken without loading aka taking large dosages in the beginning.

For those who are new to taking creatine, you might experience a slight increase in your scale weight at first. This is not reflective of actual fat or weight gain. This is simply the phenomenon of your muscles drawing in and holding onto a bit more water. With consistent use, you will not see scale fluctuations or experience bloating.

Who Should Take Creatine?

If your first thought when considering creatine supplementation is of a big, jacked guy in the gym, I get it. We’ve been conditioned to believe that only men who are into serious weightlifting and mass, but that’s not the truth. Creatine, when using correctly, is great for men and women alike!

Anyone who lives an active lifestyle can benefit from adding a creatine supplement to their routine! Even those people who don’t work out can experience an increase in mental acuity and improved body composition by taking creatine monohydrate.

In short, creatine is for everyone!

Create Creatine Gummies Review Wrap-Up: Are They Worth It?

Create Creatine Gummies are worth it if you are someone who prefers gummy supplements for convenience and taste and who wants to make taking creating a part of their daily routine. I have been taking Create Gummies for over a month now and can definitely feel a difference. I like them because I don’t have to worry about mixing up another powdered drink and it feels like I’m getting to eat a little gummy treat every day.

Taste-wise, they’re not bad, but also not the best-tasting gummies I’ve ever had - just being honest. But I do appreciate that they don’t use a bunch of junk and artificial sweeteners to make them taste better. The texture is great. There’s nothing worse than a hard, chewy gummy. Create creatine gummies are soft and don’t get stuck in your teeth. Of course, you’re going to spend a little more money on a product like Create vs grabbing a standard creatine powder off of Amazon, but for many, it’s worth the extra expense as it helps them to actually be consistent with their supplementation.

Overall, I’m impressed and excited to keep enjoying Create gummies as part of my supplement routine.
