unbloat your daily gut cleanse for bloating

In this article I'm going to review unbloat by providing a critical analysis based on my experience researching it, as a nutritionist and being a leader in my Fit Healthy Community where women sometimes express their bloating issues. Unbloat has come up as a topic of conversation, but I'm quick to remind those asking that masking as a bloating supplement might not be the best choice, and helping them get their nutrition and fitness in order as a first step towards getting to the root cause of your bloat.

So, what is unbloat? Can taking 2 unbloat capsules daily dramatically reduce bloating? Are there any real, unsponsored and unbiased customer reviews of unbloat? They make some bold claims that warrant an expert analysis.

I'll answer these questions in an un-biased perspective, but first I'll present The Hot Takes and important decision making factors to know before purchasing.

Some helpful resources on bloating:

The Hot Takes

  • Potential red flag: There are a lot of ingredients in unbloat. In my experience the more ingredients, the higher the chances of an interaction, especially for those who take prescription medications and other supplements.
  • I like how unbloat is unique having prebiotics and probiotics in their formula. For that reason, unbloat received our recommended choice among many other ant-bloating supplements.
  • Unbloat claims that by taking 2 capsules daily, you can live "a bloat-free life." I believe that in order to maximize the potential benefits, you will still need to pair it with a healthy diet and consistent exercise program.
  • I love how unbloat focuses on one product only. This shows that they don't spread themselves too thin offering multiple women's wellness supplements. All of their efforts are truly into improving the product.

Important Decision Making Factors

  • Be ready to invest money: a one-time purchase of ubloat costs $74.99. You can use our unbloat coupon code FHM to get 15% off your first order to save some money. You can also choose the subscription-based model.
  • Results vary form person to person. Be prepared to take for at least 90 days to see any type of results.
  • There is no information about if unbloat is third-party tested.

Critical Analysis of Unbloat for Bloating Relief

Let's go over what unbloat is and how it might help you de-bloat. First, I'll share my TikTok video, where I go over everything in a short 3-minute video, then you can check out the rest of the written article to find the answers you're looking for!

The gist of it is that unbloat is a multi-ingredient supplement designed to alleviate bloating. On their website and in their marketing they do say that it's Doctor formulated by a doctor named Shilpa Mehra, M.D.

I really like how unbloat uses a combination of specific prebiotic and probiotic strains that have some clinical studies related to bloating. This makes unbloat very different than comparable bloating supplements.

The Formula and My Thoughts Based on Experience

Here is the exact formula unbloat uses:

  • 21 digestive enzymes
  • 7 key probiotics
  • 6 herbal remedies
  • 4 essential nutrients
  • 2 natural sources of fiber

The first thing that stands out to me here is that there are a lot of ingredients in unbloat. This can be a good or a bad thing based on my experience using supplements.

The good thing about a lot of ingredients is one of the ingredients could click in your system and potentially relieve your bloat. It's like the law of probability.

The bad thing about too many ingredients is there's more chances one of these ingredients conflicting with other supplements, vitamins or medication you're taking, and could cause side effects.

If you really want to nerd out, I did an ingredients analysis below.

21 Digestive Enzymes: There are 21 different digestive enzymes included in the formulation of Unbloat. This includes amylases, sucrase, phytase, maltase and beta-glucanase. Digestive enzymes help your body to break down the food that you eat, while also making for a more efficient digestive process. They’re really important in regard to ensuring that your body absorbs as many nutrients as possible.

7 Key Probiotic Strains: Unbloat includes seven beneficial strains of probiotics that help create a more diverse microbiome profile. There are 37 milligrams of probiotics in each serving, including 25 billion CFUs. Strains in Unbloat include L. casei, B. lactis, L. plantarum, L. acidopholus, L. rhamnosus, B. bifidum and B. longum. This beneficial bacterium can help your body digest food in a way that prevents bloating from occurring in the first place.

2 Prebiotic Fibers: Prebiotic fiber comes from guar gum and inulin, designed to help promote the growth of beneficial gut bacteria. This has the potential to alleviate various digestive problems while also improving your metabolic health.

6 Herbal Remedies: Herbal ingredients are extremely beneficial when it comes to treating bloating. The six key remedies that are featured in Unbloat include:

Fennel Seed: Fennel seeds contain the compounds anethole, fenchone, and estragole, all of which have very potent anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. It’s very effective at treating bloating flares. It helps to stop the bloating from progressing, but it also helps you pass that gas much easier.

Ginger: When you consume ginger, it can help speed up the movement of food that is passing through your stomach and intestines. It’s also very soothing to the gut, easing symptoms such as bloating, cramping, and gas.

Turmeric: The curcumin found in turmeric can stimulate the production of bile, which reduces gas and bloating.

Milk Thistle: Milk thistle is a wild plant that is often used in herbal extracts to maintain optimal gut flora. By keeping your food moving along at a normal pace, this can reduce the amount of bloating that you experience.

Spirulina: Spirulina can be used to stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut. It aids in the digestion of fats and protein, while also boosting your nutrient intake.

Peppermint: Peppermint is a natural antispasmodic that quickly relieves stomach cramps, bloating and flatulence. It’s very effective for people who have irritable bowel syndrome.

4 Essential Nutrients: To battle back against the harmful toxins that we often come across in our daily lives, Unbloat consists of folate (as folic acid), magnesium, sodium-alginate and l-leucine. These nutrients can help reduce water retention in the body, which can then prevent bloating. Also, many people who are deficient in these nutrients experience uncomfortable GI symptoms.

Who Should Try Unbloat?

If you feel bloated and you talked to your doctor about this product, than you can try unbloat. My opinion on it is you should get your healthy habits down first, then if you are still struggling with bloating, talk to your doctor and see if it's a good fit.

We provide free, healthy, weekly meal plans to kickstart healthy eating habits. The sign up for that is below:

Who Shouldn’t?

If you expect to relieve all of your bloating and GI symptoms with just one dose of Unbloat, this might not be the product for you. It can provide you with much smoother digestion, but it takes approximately four to six weeks to diversify your microbiome, decrease inflammation, heal your gut barrier, etc. Some of the extracts (ginger and peppermint) can relieve initial symptoms of bloating.

If you take prescription medications, check with your doctor before starting an Unbloat regimen.

What’s The Price? And Is It Worth It?

The Unbloat daily cleanse supplement currently costs $74.99 for a one-time purchase. The price drops to $54.99 if you want to receive monthly shipments. You can decrease the cost even more by signing up for quarterly shipments. The price becomes $44.99 for a 90-day supply.

Unbiased Customer Reviews

When researching a supplement, it's always a good idea to skim through the 5 star reviews, but where you're really going to find out information is with the 3-star reviews or below. I'm going to share what I found when researching the unbiased and unsponsored reviews of unbloat.

Emily, a verified buyer, rated it a 3/5 stars saying the following,

"I’ve been taking unbloat for 5 weeks but haven’t noticed a big difference. I just received my new bottle so hopefully I’ll see and feel a difference soon!🤞"

There is no information out there if Emily is also eating healthy or exercising consistently. But, for 5 weeks of taking unbloat, nothing really happened. That's much different than what the unbloat brand claims, which they say it can work in 14 days.

Here's another unbiased review left by Alicia S., another verified buyer, rating unbloat a 3/5:

"Been taking unbloat for a month just finished my first bottle, not sure I feel that much different unfortunately, maybe slightly less bloating daily. I know it can take 6+ weeks to work so giving it a chance although disappointing that you only get 30 days to try it when it says it'll take longer than that to see results. I eat really healthy and drink tons of water normally so was hoping if have more obvious changes like weight loss and more energy."

Sounds like some customers would like to have a 60-day money back guarantee. But this review also states that she felt less bloated, but not a monumental change. Alicia also claims she eats healthy, but like I said before, you should consistently exercise too. And, everyone's definition of eating healthy is different.
